Love Academy-Love all around

romancingpixels:

So this is the first game I’ve seen guys in the CGs together that feed a girls imagination that something else is happening even though you know it’s not. I think I read somewhere they had a BL spinoff coming soon. Yeah read it here. I had to laugh at the MC’s reactions.

Anime Review: Inu x Boku SS
So I finished Inu x Boku SS three days ago and I’ve caught up with the manga as well. You could say i really enjoyed this anime….meh. I don’t know. Part of me liked it and part of me thinks it’s ok. I started the anime way back when it first aired because of the mangka. I had read a great manga from her and was excited to see an anime base off of her work. The preview posters looked nice as well so I would’ve been drawn in even without knowing the original creator. Anyways I stopped watching it for a long period of time because it got really boring. So after 7 month (?) I picked it back up seeing I had nothing better to do and it wasn’t half bad as I thought it was. Anyways enough of my rubish let’s move on.
Story: 7/10
The story wasn’t that interesting for a Shoujo. Basic shy girl falls in love without knowing it until later on, but thats not why it got such a mid low score. It’s because I wasn’t interested at all in the story. No, I was just interested in the main couple and how they progress. (-v-) So the story should’ve actually gotten a lower score but I mean it wasn’t that bad so a 7 is good enough. Let me summarize the thing without any spoilers. Basically about a half demon half human girl who had trouble interacting with others. Her name is Shirakiin Ririchiyo and she has come to live in a place call Ayakashi Kan. A huge nice apartment that is rumored to be haunted. It’s not, it’s just that everyone that lives in this place (like 8 people mainly) are all half demon half human. Well Ririchiyo comes to this place wanting to live in complete solitude. Why? Because she doesn’t want to hurt others with her harsh words because Ririchiyo says harsh things she really doesn’t mean. The only way to get accross her real message is through writing letters (or text). Although she denys this and pushed on that she’s a really unpleasant person. Oh and everyone who moves into this apartment is to have a Secret Service (SS) agent to protect them and they are also half human half demon breed. (Also side note everyone’s basically rich due to the cross breeding? Idk how that really makes sense but go along with it!) So naturally Ririchiyo gets an SS agent and his name is Soushi Miketsukami. (most girls probably only watched this anime for him xD and I am probably one of them ^ ^”) Miketsukami is strangely right off the bat loyal to Ririchiyo. No matter how much she pushes him away he insists on being her “servant”. If she denys his services than he will die. Ririchiyo feeling guilty if he does this agrees to form a contract with him and they continue their lives as Master and Servant. With humor here and there of course. So that’s basically this whole story.
Art: 9/10
The art was great! The animation was also great throughout the whole anime. The character was nicely done (very nicely). If I compared this to usual Shoujo animation than haaha it’ll beat almost every single one by far. (maybe not Kimi Ni Todoke) I really like the animation done here so thumbrs up for that. It looks almost exactly like the manga as well so yay. My expectation for the animation when the PV came out did not lower. So yeah good job people who did this.
Characters: 7/10
The characters weren’t bad. Development was nicely done. You don’t quite see much development between everyone except for the main two characters, Ririchiyo and Miketsukami. You do of course see improvements with Ririchiyo’s relationship with other people. This anime was actually mainly about her and how she developes into interacting with people better. There’s also a many variety of characters you’ll see. All being funny in a way. Plus pleasing to look at so thats a plus?
Overall: 7/10
Again not my favorite anime but it wasn’t bad. I enjoyed it for the most part and I’m a girly girl for Shoujo. The anime has already completely finished airing so all the episodes are aviliable on Crunchyroll. It’s a 12 episode anime with about 24 minutes per episode. Recommend to people who like a nice looking anime guy, a sweet/awkward romance story, nice animation, and something that might make you read the manga to see what happens.
